Dazzle ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Dazzle (the "App"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Photos and Images: When you use the App to generate AI art, you may upload photos from your device. These images are sent to our AI service provider solely for the purpose of generating art based on your request.
- Text Prompts: Any text descriptions or prompts you enter to guide the AI art generation process.
- Account Information: The App uses anonymous authentication. We do not require you to provide your name, email address, or other personal identifiers to use the App.
1.2 Face Data
Some features of the App allow you to upload photos that may contain human faces. The following explains how we handle face data:
- What face data is collected: When you upload a photo containing a face, the entire photo (including any facial features visible in the image) is sent to our third-party AI service provider (Google Firebase AI / Gemini) solely for the purpose of applying the selected art style to generate a stylized version of your image. The App does not use facial recognition technology, does not create face templates or face prints, and does not extract or store any biometric identifiers from your photos.
- How face data is used: Face data contained in your uploaded photos is used exclusively for AI art generation — to transform and stylize the photo you submit. No other use is made of face data.
- Third-party sharing: Your uploaded photos (which may contain faces) are sent to Google Firebase AI / Gemini solely for real-time AI processing. Google processes this data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. No face data is shared with any other third parties.
- Storage: Uploaded photos containing face data are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers or Google's servers after processing is complete. Generated (stylized) images are stored only locally on your device.
- Retention: Face data from uploaded photos is retained only for the duration of the AI processing request (typically a few seconds). Once the stylized image is generated and returned, the original uploaded photo is discarded and not retained by us or our AI service provider.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: We may collect certain information about your device, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and general usage statistics for app improvement purposes.
- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data such as features used, number of generations, and app interaction patterns to improve the App experience.
- Crash Reports: In the event of an app crash, we may collect diagnostic data to help us identify and fix bugs.
1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- We do not use facial recognition technology or create biometric identifiers or face prints.
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, or location data.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not sell any of your data to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- AI Art Generation: To process your photos and text prompts through our AI service and generate art based on your requests.
- App Functionality: To provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and performance.
- Credit System: To manage your generation credits and subscription status.
- Analytics: To understand how users interact with the App so we can improve the user experience.
- Bug Fixes: To identify and resolve technical issues.
3. AI Service and Data Processing
The App uses third-party AI services (Google Firebase AI / Gemini) to generate images. When you submit a photo or text prompt:
- Your input (photo and/or text prompt) is sent to the AI service for processing.
- The AI service processes the input and returns the generated image.
- We do not permanently store your uploaded photos on our servers.
- Photos are processed in real-time and are not retained after the generation is complete.
- Generated images are stored locally on your device and optionally in your app collection.
Important: The AI processing is performed by Google's Firebase AI services. Their processing of data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review their privacy practices.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
Generated images and your preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by removing the App or deleting individual generations within the App.
4.2 Cloud Services
We use Google Firebase for the following services:
- Firebase Authentication: For anonymous user identification (no personal information required).
- Firebase Firestore: To store your credit balance and generation metadata (not the images themselves).
- Firebase App Check: To protect our backend services from abuse.
4.3 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Secure authentication mechanisms.
- Regular security assessments.
- Minimal data collection practices.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.
- Subscription management and billing are handled by Apple.
- We receive anonymous transaction data from RevenueCat to manage your subscription status.
- You can manage or cancel your subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at dazzlephoto.app@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can request information about the data we hold about you.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data. For cloud-stored data, contact us at dazzlephoto.app@gmail.com.
- Portability: You can export your generated images by saving them to your device's photo library.
- Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics data collection through your device settings.
9. Data Retention
- Uploaded Photos: Not retained after AI processing is complete.
- Generated Images: Stored locally on your device until you delete them.
- Account Data: Anonymous account data is retained as long as you use the App. It is deleted when you request account deletion.
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, as our AI service providers operate globally. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
