Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NailAI ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using NailAI you agree to the practices described here. We designed NailAI to collect as little personal data as possible — you can use it without creating an account or giving us your name or email.

1. Information We Collect

Photos you provide: Images of your hands that you capture or upload to generate nail designs. These are processed to create your designs and to store designs you choose to save.
Designs & preferences: Generated designs you save, your selected nail shape/style preferences, and prompts you enter.
Anonymous account identifier: A randomly generated Firebase Anonymous Authentication ID. This is not linked to your real identity.
Usage & diagnostics: Aggregated, non-identifying analytics and crash data to improve the app.
Purchase data: Subscription and credit purchase status (processed by Apple and RevenueCat — we never receive your full payment card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate, edit, and store your AI nail designs.
To manage your credits, subscriptions, and entitlements.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.
To send optional notifications (e.g., when a design is ready), if you grant permission.

3. Third-Party Services

NailAI relies on the following service providers, each with their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) — Firebase Privacy
Google Gemini / Firebase AI Logic — used to generate and edit your nail designs from the photos and prompts you provide.
RevenueCat (subscription & purchase management) — RevenueCat Privacy
Apple (App Store purchases, App Attest) — Apple Privacy

4. Photo Handling & AI Processing

Photos you submit are sent securely to our AI image provider solely to produce your requested designs. We do not use your photos to train models, and we do not sell your photos. Designs you save are stored in your private, anonymous account; designs you do not save are not retained beyond what is needed to deliver the result.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your saved designs and account data remain until you delete them. You can delete individual designs in the app, and you can permanently delete your entire account and associated data from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is irreversible and removes your designs, credits, and anonymous profile.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA)

Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because NailAI is account-free and anonymous, the primary control is the in-app Delete Account function. For additional requests, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

NailAI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including Firebase App Check (App Attest / DeviceCheck), encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. We rely on our providers' safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice.
