The measurement needs to see your whole body clearly. Try this: stand side-on to the camera, the full body in frame from head to feet, a plain wall behind you, even lighting, and fitted clothes so your back line is visible. Prop the phone up rather than holding it.
The measurement runs on your iPhone, so taking a scan does not send your photo anywhere. If you chose to keep the photo it stays in the app's private storage on your device, and you can delete it any time from Profile.
There is one exception, and it only happens if you ask for it: the before/after preview sends that single photo to Google's Gemini to draw the image. We ask before the first time and you can say no — everything else in the app keeps working. Google does not keep the image or train on it, and it never reaches our own servers. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Four categories — head position, shoulders, upper back and pelvis — are each scored out of 100 from an angle measured in your photo, then averaged into your total. Open any scan from the Today screen to see each measured value next to its target.
It is an in-app indicator for comparing your own scans over time. It is not a clinical measurement and is not comparable to anyone else's score.
Use "Too hard" during a session — the plan will adjust. Never push through sharp pain, numbness or tingling. If a movement consistently hurts, stop and speak to a healthcare professional.
Open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Lumba → Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your scans and history live on your device, so a wipe removes them. Your subscription can be restored: open the paywall and tap "Restore Purchases".
Profile → Delete all data removes everything on the device. To also remove the anonymous record on our servers, email us and mention the anonymous ID shown in Profile → About.
